After studying psychology, Akiyoshi specialised in visual perception and visual illusions of geometrical shape, brightness and colour at the University of Tsukuba.

    This reminds me of Bridget Riley and her blend of op-art. Who needs to be under any influence when mathematical and geometrical rules can create pieces of art that move?
